Dr. Effie Chow is a Qigong Grandmaster, who has for over 35 years been working to bring to our western way of living the preventive aspect and healing methods from the East – Qigong. She is the recipient of many international and national awards, in appreciation for her unique efforts to sharing with thousands of people her healing power, charisma, energy and love. She is the Chair Person for the 4th World Congress on Qigong which takes place in San Francisco - May 4-7, 2001 - another cutting edge event supported by East West Academy and many other co-sponsors. Its goal is to highlight Qigong as a viable and essential practice for enhancing everyday life, and as an effective self-help system in mainstream healthcare.
